Al-Hilal are expected to return with a third bid for Napoli forward Victor Osimhen according to reports, this is after they saw their first two offers for the Nigerian striker rejected by the Italian champions.
That’s according to today’s L’Equipe, which follows up on another report yesterday evening this time it was Italian outlet Il Mattino, which claimed that the Saudi side had made an offer for the Nigerian but that had been rejected by Napoli.
The report states that not only have Al-Hilal made a second offer for the Frenchman but are also reportedly preparing a third offer for the 24-year-old.
They say Al-Hilal’s first offer of €120 million was rejected by Napoli’s president Aurelio de Laurentiis and a second offer rising to €140 million was also rejected by the Italian side.
Sky Sports take it further and say that Al-Hilal are prepared to offer the forward £1 million a week for the forward to make the move to Saudi Arabia.
This comes after Al-Hilal tried and failed in their pursuit to sign French superstar Kylian Mbappe from PSG, with their £259 million offer for the forward being accepted before the Frenchman turned down the move to the Middle Eastern club as he is reportedly waiting for Real Madrid to come forward according to Sky Sports.
Third offer being prepared
Al-Hilal are really showing they mean business this summer as they continue their offensive onto the European stage. The report from the French outlet claims that the Saudi side are preparing a third offer for the striker who scored 26 goals in Serie A last season.
A report from the same outlet claimed that Napoli valued the forward at around €200 million, due to the ludicrous offer made by the Saudi side for Mbappe.
Whether Napoli would accept the offer if Al-Hilal were willing to match Napoli’s valuation, remains to be seen. It is also claimed by the same outlet that the Italian side are eager to open new contract talks with the Nigerian striker despite the rumours circulating over his future.
