Al-Hilal reportedly held a strong interest in Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen last month and it seems the Napoli chairman has slapped a whopping price tag on the 24-year-old’s head.
According to a report from French outlet L’Equipe, Aurelio De Laurentiis, Napoli’s Chairman, has set an extraordinary price tag on the head of the former Lille striker.
The report states Napoli would only sell the forward if they received an offer in the region of €500 million for the forward who was arguably one of the best strikers in Europe last season, as he helped fire Napoli to the Scudetto for the first time in over 30 years.
Under the guidance of newly-appointed Napoli manager Rudi Garcia, Osimhen has already found the back of the net three times in as many games with the Serie A champions.

What does the report say
The report states that the Saudi Arabian side did try an audacious bid near the €200 million mark but even that wouldn’t have been enough to sell the Nigerian star.
According to the French outlet, De Laurentiis sent an email to the bosses on the Saudi side which said: “Your bid can only buy one of Osimhen’s feet. For next year, I expect you’ll be able to table €500m and maybe we’ll entertain your offer, but I say again, ‘maybe’”.
It comes after an extraordinary season in the Serie A for Osimhen as he bagged 31 goals in 39 games for Luciano Spalletti’s side last season.
The Nigerian had been previously linked with Manchester United and Chelsea but the forward received the strongest interest from Al-Hilal.
They were prepared to offer him a ludicrous salary to make the move but the Italian side, and seemingly the Nigerian forward, rejected their proposal.
