Neymar has struggled in the Saudi Pro League since the start of the new season due to the injury issues that have plagued the Brazilian over the last few seasons.
The forward made his debut for the Saudi side last week and the fans were unhappy when Al-Hilal were awarded a penalty and the Brazilian was shunned when it came to the taking of the penalty.
It now seems that the Brazilian is seemingly causing unrest in the Middle East. Neymar featured for the full 90 minutes as Al-Hilal were held 1-1 by the minnows from Uzbekistan.
Navbahor took the lead after 52 minutes and a frustrated Neymar’s temper flared soon after. He was unable to take a quick free-kick as an opponent was standing in-front of the ball.
Following Neymar’s antics, Al-Hilal eventually equalised in the tenth minute of stoppage time via Ali Albulayhi to salvage a point in their group stage opener. It was the Brazilian’s second game after appearing as a substitute in the 6-1 win over Al-Riyadh on Friday.
The Saudi side, according to The Sun, paid £77 million for the forward and the former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain forward is set to pocket £2.5 million a week and the winger is expected to be the main man in the Middle East.
Neymar video emerges
Following the frustrating 1-1 draw in the AFC Champions League, a video emerged on social media of the forward leaving the ground pretty much as soon as the full-time whistle had been blown in the Middle East.
The Brazilian’s frustration is evident. His big-money move has been marred by consistent injury problems.
As well as this, former Fulham forward Aleksandar Mitrovic has seemingly become the main man for the Saudi side, ahead of Neymar.
